Harper donates proofer to FFTA auction

The Phanton Proofer from the HarperScientific division will be auctioned off to raise money for a scholarship fund.

Anilox roll supplier Harper Corporation has donated a Phanton Proofer from its HarperScientific division to the second annual FIRST Operator Certification Scholarship Fund. The proofer will be auctioned off in an effort to raise money for the FIRST Operator Certification Scholarship Fund. The scholarship money will be awarded to individuals pursuing FIRST press or pre-press certification. The auction, which will take place online, is scheduled to begin on February 20, 2012 and end on March 19, 2012 at 5:00 pm CST.

According to the company, the Phantom Proofer provides precision ink delivery through a laser engraved ceramic anilox roll. It also integrates a rubber transfer roll and doctor blade metering.
